The officer handcuffs Adrian (the mafioso aka the male lead) and before the girl could even react , the senior officer looked at her and asked "what's your name?" "Aurora" the girl replied fearfully, the senior officer looked at his junior and ordered him to arrest the girl too . She struggled in the cuffs and tried to explain about the accident to the officer but he did not listen to her at all and they both were dragged to the station.

INSIDE THE POLICE STATION INTERROGATION CHAMBERS :-

Aurora and Adrian were cuffed to their respective chairs , aurora looked at him with hate but he was entirely busy with something else !! Adrian was too busy admiring her brown eyes, long lashes , plump lips , wavy hair and the curves of her body. He was so busy admiring her that he didn't even listen to her cursing. But she slapped him again in anger and said " you asshole you are smiling like a fool i am trapped here in a police station for the first time in my life because of you and you dont care about anything. "When he finally paid attention to her words he smirked and simply leaned back in his chair and said in voice that sent shivers down her spine "that's two slaps for now , dont worry little girl we will think about how you will pay for that after I get us out of here."

Adrian was never once attracted to a woman in all his life , he had worked with the biggest mafias went to the best clubs seen infinite beautiful woman but he never felt what he was feeling right now with this little creature who was barely 5 feet . He was CURIOUS . He wanted to know everything about her now every small detail and he had made up his mind for something .......

Just as Adrian was busy gawking at her Brea*ts and waist , he didn't realise the presence of the officer in the room. The officer cleared his throat awkwardly to get his attention away from her . Then the officer announced something that left Adrian confused and speechless for a moment .

"You mister Adrian are under arrest for the vicious murder of Antonio Rucci !!"

The officers voice shattered the silence of the room .

Adrian went still for a moment . It felt like a realisation passed through his eyes but he masked it within a second. Adrian was confused as Antonio Rucci was the right hand man of the American mafia .

Was Antonio an enemy to Adrian?

YES DEFINITELY!!

Did Adrian really kill Antonio?

NOT AT ALL!!

Adrian soon realised that it was some trap that was going on in the underworld and there were two possibilities,

1. Someone really killed Antonio and framed Adrian for it .

2. Antonio is alive and it's a trap of the Italian mafia of distracting Adrian from the upcoming threat.

But Adrian could not admit this infront of the police as he had no idea of who was the one behind it nor the evidence to prove himself innocent so he simply placed his free hand in on of his hoodie pockets and pressed a small button.

When Adrian couldn't answer anything , the officers eyes snapped to Aurora and he enquired her with suspicious eyes "how are you related to this man , miss?"

Before aurora could even say something, Adrian placed a hand on her thigh and casually said "she's my fiance." Adrian's tone left no rooms for further questions.

Aurora looked at Adrian in confusion and horror but just as she was about to say something Adrian squeezed her thigh and signalled her to play along . She decided to stay quiet but her eyes didn't waver , her eyes searched for answers in his but his eyes only remained blank . He simply smirked and winked at her casually and aurora gulped nervously.

It was his way to get out of there and Adrian was already planning something Dangerous.

The officer snapped his fingers sensing the tension in the room and turned towards aurora who looked away from the officer in fear . The officer asked "Miss I expect you to say the truth, if there are any problems the police wishes to help you with that but answer me honestly , Is he really your fiance? You do not need to fear him right now " but before aurora could even answer Adrian's voice cut through the silence "First of all dear officer I expect you to talk to my wifey nicely without scaring her and second--" before he could complete aurora said in full confidence "future wife mister I am not your wife yet I know you are desperate but that's the fun right?" Adrian was left shocked but he quickly recovered and turned to the officer and said "does that answer your question officer?" With a proud smirk .

The officer who was caught off guard goes on with his questions about why he killed Antonio but Adrian keeps complicating the case for the officer through his diverse and incomplete answers . Just as the investigation was going on a worker walks in and says something to the officer in his ear . Then the officer asks for Auroras full name and she says "Aurora russo". Hearing this a strange warmth spreads across Adrian's heart as he softly repeats her name enjoying the way it rolled off his tongue. The officer asks a few more questions to aurora about her personal life, parents name , occupation, address etc . On the other hand Adrian listened to auroras answers attentively so he could gather more information. After the officer was satisfied with auroras answers he turned to Adrian and asked

"Whats your full name mister ?"

And just then , a loud gunshot echoed through the police station. Hundreds of masked men entered . The senior officer was forced to get up and surrender in the matter of seconds as Enzo( Adrian's right hand man ) pointed his gun at the officers head. Within just a few minutes all the police staff was stripped off their weapons and made to surrender infront of Adrian's army . A deep uncomfortable silence spread across the police station.

Meanwhile Adrian simply smiled a wicked smile that signified his victory and leaned comfortably in his position . He looked unfazed about the situation. But, aurora who was unaware about the fact that they were Adrian's men was shaking like a leaf , her eyes turned teary and she got up and raised her hands when on of his men pointed the gun at her head .

But Adrian simply signalled the men to remove the weapon and looked at aurora and said in a dark ,deep voice that left no room for argument

"Sit down wifey, they are my men they won't hurt you so just sit and stop stressing your stunning pretty legs , only i have the right to make them pain."
